Fall

November 12, 2023 by Brandon Davis Jennings

Here I am after the second pass with “Fall”. I decided to lose the bombs and the plane because the vapor trails in the sky are more subtle and I think they show the message I really wanted to show. This is not a war zone, and the girl here is not scared for her life, but the weapons of war are always there and that means war could happen at any moment. Which is both good and bad. I don’t want war, but I know we need to be prepared in the event it comes. And I know that anything that can be explained in a line from a Metallica song is probably not the most complicated idea, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth reiterating. After all if we all stop talking about things because we’ve heard them before then we are bound to forget to pass knowledge on that needs to be passed on.
